Hello, My name is Joanna. I have a Ph.D.  in Social and Philosophical Foundations of Education from Rutgers University and have been a full-time English Language Arts teacher in high school for more than 26 years. I am also the advisor for the school newspaper and yearbook club for my local high school. As a avid writer, I have also published several articles in magazines such as Youth and Tech  and a college textbook on radio broadcasting.  

I enjoy working with students and watching them grow and develop their skills as we read, discuss, and write about literature. I have also tutored international students and helped them prepare for TOEFL exams.
