My name is Joseph but many of my students call me Coach Joe or Mr. Q. I participated in Speech and Debate as a student and after numerous national accolades, I earned a full scholarship for both my undergraduate and graduate studies. I was the Middle School Speech and Debate Director at an elite private school in Florida. In the 10 years since then, I have been mentoring students from 4th grade to seniors in college.  My students have gone on to win numerous honors, including national championships at multiple levels (middle school, high school, and college) but I am most proud that they learned practical and interpersonal skills that will be valuable to them for the rest of their lives. 

I believe the best instruction comes from tailoring lessons to students specific needs. In addition to Speech and Debate, I have a passion for writing and would love to impart the wisdom I have learned after publishing work in various academic publications.
